Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy M31s has a general score of 88, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S5's 80.8 overall score. Both phones we compare here include Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy M31s has older 11 version and Samsung Galaxy S5 has Android 4.4.2 version. Samsung Galaxy M31s is a newer phone than the Samsung Galaxy S5, but it is thicker and a lot heavier.
The Galaxy S5 has a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy M31s, because although it has 4 less CPU cores and 3 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with an extra GPU. The Galaxy S5 features a much better screen than Galaxy M31s, because although it has a lot smaller display and a little bit worse resolution of 1920 x 1080, it also counts with a better display pixels density.
The Galaxy M31s captures way better videos and photos than Galaxy S5, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Galaxy M31s also has a bigger diafragm aperture for better captures and videos in low-light environments, a much larger sensor providing a much better image quality and a much higher 64 mega pixels resolution back facing camera.
Galaxy M31s features much more storage to install applications and games than Galaxy S5, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 512 GB and more internal memory capacity. The Galaxy M31s features a way better battery lifetime than Galaxy S5, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity.
