Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S5, having an 81.8 score against 80.8. Both devices in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a more recent 5.0 version and Samsung Galaxy S5 has Android 4.4.2, so it offers a couple nice extra features. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a newer phone, and it is also thinner and a little bit lighter than Samsung Galaxy S5.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a bit faster processor than Galaxy S5, and although they both have a 3 GB RAM, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also has a 64-bits processor, more CPU cores (although slower) and a better graphics processing unit working at 650 megahertz. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a little bit better display than Samsung Galaxy S5, and although they both have a same size display and the same quantity of pixels per inch of display, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also has a better resolution of 2560 x 1440.
Galaxy S5 has much more memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Galaxy S5 also has an external SD slot that supports up to 128 GB. Galaxy S5 captures much better pictures and videos than Galaxy S6 Edge, although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not good for capturing images in low-light environments, they both have a 0.38 inches sensor, a 16 megapixels back-facing camera, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates.
Galaxy S5 features a little better battery performance than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has 2800mAh of battery capacity instead of 2600mAh.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is not only the best devices of the ones we are comparing, but it's also cheaper than the Galaxy S5, which makes it a very good choice.
