Galaxy S5 Active is a bit better than Apple iPhone 6 Plus, having a 75.6 score against 75.3. Galaxy S5 Active has Android 4.4.4 OS, and Apple iPhone 6 Plus comes with iOS 8.x OS. Even though Galaxy S5 Active and the Apple iPhone 6 Plus were released only 3 months apart, the Galaxy S5 Active construction is a little bit lighter but thicker.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Active has a bit superior processor than Apple iPhone 6 Plus, because although it has a 32-bits CPU against 64-bits, and they both have a 450 MHz graphics processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory and a higher number of cores.
The iPhone 6 Plus has a bit sharper screen than Galaxy S5 Active, because although it has a little worse screen density, and they both have an equal 1920 x 1080px resolution, the iPhone 6 Plus also counts with a quite larger screen. IPhone 6 Plus shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Galaxy S5 Active, although it has a back camera with a way worse 8 mega pixels resolution and a much lower video resolution.

Although Samsung Galaxy S5 Active is a better device, it costs more than iPhone 6 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as iPhone 6 Plus. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the iPhone 6 Plus, letting go some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
