Comparison review
The iPhone 8 Plus has an overall score of 87.1, which is much better than Samsung Galaxy S5 Active's 75.6 general score. Although the iPhone 8 Plus is somewhat heavier than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, it's thinner and also much newer. Galaxy S5 Active has a little bit better looking display than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1920 x 1080, the Galaxy S5 Active also counts with a just a bit higher pixels quantity per inch in the screen.
The iPhone 8 Plus features a way bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S5 Active, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 240 GB more internal storage. IPhone 8 Plus counts with a little faster processor than Galaxy S5 Active, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with a 64-bit processing unit, a larger number of cores and a larger amount of RAM.
The Galaxy S5 Active counts with just a bit longer battery life than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because it has 2800mAh of battery capacity. IPhone 8 Plus has a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, although it has a much lower 12 megapixels resolution camera in the back and a worse (4K) video quality.
Although Apple iPhone 8 Plus is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your money.
