Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone is slightly better than Galaxy S5 Active, with a 77.1 score against 75.6. Although Asus ROG Phone is heavier than the Galaxy S5 Active, it's a bit thinner and newer. Galaxy S5 Active has a bit better screen than Asus ROG Phone, because although it has a little worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a little smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher pixels quantity per display inch.
Asus ROG Phone features just a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with a larger number of cores (and faster) and 6 GB more RAM. The Asus ROG Phone features a much greater memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 496 GB more internal storage capacity.
Samsung Galaxy S5 Active captures a lot better videos and photos than Asus ROG Phone, although it has worse video frame rate, they both have the same video resolution. The Asus ROG Phone features a way better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, because it has a 4000mAh battery size against 2800mAh.
Although Asus ROG Phone is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy S5 Active, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy S5 Active. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Asus ROG Phone, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Galaxy S5 Active, letting go a couple features and specifications.
