Comparison review
Google Pixel has a general score of 80.2, which is slightly better than the Galaxy S5 Active's overall score of 75.6. The Google Pixel design is newer, lighter and just a bit thinner than the Galaxy S5 Active. Samsung Galaxy S5 Active features a more vivid screen than Google Pixel, because although it has a just a bit less pixels per inch in the screen, and they both have an equal 1920 x 1080 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active also counts with a little larger display.
The Google Pixel features a much better memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy S5 Active, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 112 GB more internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Active has a little better performance than Google Pixel, because although it has 2 GB lesser RAM, and they both have 4 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active also counts with a graphics co-processor.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Active has a bit superior battery performance than Google Pixel, because it has 2800mAh of battery capacity instead of 2770mAh. The Google Pixel counts with a better camera than Galaxy S5 Active, although it has a lot worse resolution camera in the back and a worse video quality.
Although Google Pixel is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Google Pixel, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, resigning a couple specs and features.
