Comparison review
The HTC U Ultra has an overall score of 77, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy S5 Active's score of 75.6. HTC U Ultra's construction weights the same than Galaxy S5 Active, but it is somewhat thinner. The Galaxy S5 Active counts with a little faster processor than HTC U Ultra, because although it has 2 GB lesser RAM, and they both have a Quad-Core processor, the Galaxy S5 Active also counts with an extra graphics processor.
The Galaxy S5 Active counts with a slightly better looking screen than HTC U Ultra, although it has a bit smaller screen, a bit lower pixel density and a way worse resolution of 1920 x 1080. HTC U Ultra has a much greater memory to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, because it has 64 GB internal memory capacity and a SD memory slot that allows up to 1,95 TB.
The HTC U Ultra takes much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy S5 Active, although it has a lower (4K) video quality and a back facing camera with much less MP. The HTC U Ultra counts with a little better battery lifetime than Galaxy S5 Active, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2800mAh.
Although HTC U Ultra is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy S5 Active, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy S5 Active. So if you need that extra features, you can buy HTC U Ultra, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy S5 Active, giving up some features and specifications.
