Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a bit better than the Galaxy S5 Active, getting an 82.9 score against 75.6. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro design is extremely newer and a bit thinner, but somewhat heavier than the Galaxy S5 Active. The Galaxy S5 Active has a slightly better looking display than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, although it has a way worse 1920 x 1080 resolution, a little lower amount of pixels per screen inch and a way smaller screen.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with more RAM and a higher number of cores. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro shoots much better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same video quality, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has a way better 40 MP resolution back-facing camera.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a way bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy S5 Active, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a superior battery duration than Galaxy S5 Active, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity against 2800mAh.
Although Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Huawei Mate 20 Pro, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, resigning some features and specifications.
