Comparison review
Huawei P20 Pro is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, with an 81.4 score against 75.6. The Huawei P20 Pro body is much newer and somewhat thinner, but also a little heavier than Samsung Galaxy S5 Active. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei P20 Pro has older 10 version and Samsung Galaxy S5 Active has Android 4.4.4.
Huawei P20 Pro has a processing unit that is just as good as the CPU in Galaxy S5 Active, because although the Huawei P20 Pro has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with more processing cores and 4 GB more RAM. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Active features a much better looking screen than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller screen and a quite lower resolution of 1920 x 1080, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per inch of screen.
Huawei P20 Pro counts with a much greater storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S5 Active, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. Huawei P20 Pro captures greater photographs and videos than Galaxy S5 Active, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same video frame rate, the Huawei P20 Pro also has a back-facing camera with a much better 40 mega pixels resolution.
Huawei P20 Pro counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Galaxy S5 Active, because it has a 4000mAh battery size against 2800mAh.
Although Huawei P20 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy S5 Active, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy S5 Active. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get Galaxy S5 Active, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
