Comparison review
LG G5 is a little bit better than Galaxy S5 Active, having a score of 76.1 against 75.6. LG G5's body is newer, somewhat thinner and a bit lighter than the Galaxy S5 Active. These phones work with Android OS, but the LG G5 has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version and Galaxy S5 Active has Android 4.4.4, counting with a lot of extra features and performance enhancements.
The Galaxy S5 Active has a bit better hardware performance than LG G5, because although it has 2 GB less RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S5 Active also counts with an additional graphics processing unit. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Active features a bit better looking screen than LG G5, although it has a lot worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a bit lower amount of pixels per inch in the screen and a bit smaller screen.

The LG G5 counts with a battery lifetime that's just as good as Galaxy S5 Active's battery life.
Although LG G5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy S5 Active, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy S5 Active. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the Galaxy S5 Active, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your budget.
