Comparison review
LG Q70 is just a bit better than the Galaxy S5 Active, with a 77.9 score against 75.6. The LG Q70 design is newer and just a bit thinner than the Galaxy S5 Active's, but it's somewhat heavier. Both devices we compare here have Android operating system, but LG Q70 has older 10 version while Galaxy S5 Active has Android 4.4.4 version.
Galaxy S5 Active counts with a better screen than LG Q70, because although it has a lot smaller screen and a little lower 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, it also counts with a little bit greater pixels number in each inch in the screen. Galaxy S5 Active counts with just a bit better hardware performance than LG Q70, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although faster) and lesser RAM memory, it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit.
LG Q70 takes much better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the LG Q70 also has a lot higher 32 MP resolution back camera. LG Q70 has much more memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy S5 Active, because it has a SD extension slot that allows up to 1,95 TB and 64 GB internal storage capacity.
LG Q70 counts with a superior battery lifetime than Galaxy S5 Active, because it has a 4000mAh battery size against 2800mAh.
Although LG Q70 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy S5 Active, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy S5 Active. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy LG Q70, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Galaxy S5 Active, letting go some features and specifications.
