Comparison review
LG V30S ThinQ has a general score of 82.5, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy S5 Active's general score of 75.6. Both devices in our current comparison include Android operating system, but the LG V30S ThinQ has 8.0 Oreo version and Samsung Galaxy S5 Active has Android 4.4.4 version. The LG V30S ThinQ is a noticeably newer cellphone, and it's also a bit lighter and somewhat thinner than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active.
LG V30S ThinQ features just a bit better performance than Galaxy S5 Active, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with 4 GB more RAM and a greater number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Active features just a bit better screen than LG V30S ThinQ, although it has a bit smaller screen, a little less pixels per inch of screen and a much lower resolution of 1920 x 1080.
LG V30S ThinQ has a much better camera than Galaxy S5 Active. Both have the same video quality, a same resolution back-facing camera and the same video frame rate. The LG V30S ThinQ has much more memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, because it has 112 GB more internal memory capacity and a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 1,95 TB.
LG V30S ThinQ features improved battery life than Galaxy S5 Active, because it has a 3300mAh battery size.
Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy S5 Active. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy LG V30S ThinQ, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, letting go a couple features and specifications.
