LG Velvet is much better than Galaxy S5 Active, with a general score of 87.1 against 75.6. LG Velvet's design is incredibly newer and thinner than the Galaxy S5 Active's, but it's also just a little bit heavier. Galaxy S5 Active features a much better display than LG Velvet, because although it has a bit worse 1920 x 1080 resolution and a really smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher screen pixel density.
The LG Velvet counts with a processor that is just as good as Samsung Galaxy S5 Active's processor, because although the LG Velvet has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with a greater number of cores and 4 GB more RAM. The LG Velvet has a greater camera than Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the LG Velvet also has a way more MP camera.
LG Velvet has a way bigger storage for games and applications than Galaxy S5 Active, because it has a SD card slot that allows up to 1,95 TB and 112 GB more internal storage. The LG Velvet features a superior battery life than Galaxy S5 Active, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity.
LG Velvet costs more money than Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
