Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has a general score of 81.6, which is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active's 75.6 overall score. These phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has a newer 5.0 version and Samsung Galaxy S5 Active has Android 4.4.4 version, offering lots of additional features and better performance. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 body is a little bit thinner but just a bit heavier than Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, and both of them were released with only 2 months difference.
The Galaxy Note 4 counts with a bit better looking screen than Galaxy S5 Active, because it has a bit bigger display, a just a bit greater pixel amount per inch of screen and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440. The Galaxy Note 4 counts with much more storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, and although they both have an external memory card slot that allows up to 128 GB, the Galaxy Note 4 also has 32 GB internal memory capacity.
The Galaxy Note 4 features a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Note 4 also has a greater amount of RAM and a faster 500 megahertz graphics processing unit. Galaxy Note 4 features a bit better battery performance than Galaxy S5 Active, because it has a 15 percent larger battery capacity.
Galaxy Note 4 shoots much better pictures and videos than Galaxy S5 Active. Both have a same resolution back camera, the same (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is more expensive than the Galaxy S5 Active, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a better phone for that extra money.
