The Galaxy S6 has a score of 87.4, which is much better than Galaxy S5 Active's 75.6 score. Both phones in our current comparison use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy S6 has a newer 5.0 version and Galaxy S5 Active has Android 4.4.4. Galaxy S6's construction is newer, incredibly thinner and lighter than the Galaxy S5 Active.
Galaxy S6 features a slightly better looking screen than Galaxy S5 Active, and although they both have a same size screen, the Galaxy S6 also has a higher pixels density and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The Galaxy S6 features a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy S5 Active, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.
Samsung Galaxy S6 features a little bit better performance than Galaxy S5 Active, because it has a faster graphics processing unit, a 64-bit processing unit, 1 GB more RAM and more cpu cores. The Galaxy S6 counts with a superior camera than Galaxy S5 Active. Both have a 16 megapixels resolution camera in the back, the same video quality and the same video frame rate.
Galaxy S5 Active has a bit longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S6, because it has a 2800mAh battery size against 2550mAh.
Galaxy S6 costs more money than Galaxy S5 Active, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
