Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, with a 78.1 score against 75.6. Samsung Galaxy S7 edge is a newer phone, and it's also just a little bit lighter and somewhat thinner than Samsung Galaxy S5 Active. Both phones in this comparison review work with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has newer 8.0 Oreo version and Samsung Galaxy S5 Active has Android 4.4.4, providing you some additional features.
The Galaxy S5 Active features a slightly better screen than Galaxy S7 edge, although it has a quite smaller display, a way worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a just a bit worse pixels density. The Galaxy S7 edge features a superior memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, because it has a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 200 GB and more internal memory capacity.
Samsung Galaxy S5 Active has just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has 2 GB lesser RAM, and they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active also counts with an additional graphics processing unit.
