Comparison review
The Xperia Z5 Premium has a global score of 79.8, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy S5 Active's score of 75.6. Both devices in this comparison have Android OS (Operating System), but Xperia Z5 Premium has the newer 5.1 version while Galaxy S5 Active has Android 4.4.4, so it provides a couple additional features and enhanced performance. Xperia Z5 Premium's construction is newer and thinner, but a bit heavier than the Galaxy S5 Active.
The Xperia Z5 Premium's processing unit is very similar to the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active one, and although the Xperia Z5 Premium has more RAM and 4 more cores (but slower), they both have a 450 megahertz graphics processing unit. The Xperia Z5 Premium has a better looking display than Galaxy S5 Active, because it has a little larger screen, a lot higher 3840 x 2160 resolution and much more pixels per inch in the display.

The Xperia Z5 Premium has a lot bigger storage for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, because it has more internal memory capacity and a SD card slot that supports up to 200 GB.
Xperia Z5 Premium counts with greater battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, because it has 3430mAh of battery capacity.
Although Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy S5 Active, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy S5 Active. If you want to save some money, you can get the Galaxy S5 Active, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
