Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a little bit better than the Galaxy S5 Active, with a overall score of 81.2 against 75.6. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 body is extremely newer and somewhat thinner than the Galaxy S5 Active's, although it is also a little bit heavier. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features a little bit better processing power than Galaxy S5 Active, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with 4 GB more RAM memory and more cores.
The Galaxy S5 Active counts with a sharper display than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a little smaller screen, it also counts with a bit more pixels per screen inch. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features a much greater memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with a much better camera than Galaxy S5 Active, although it has a camera in the back with lot less megapixels resolution and a worse (4K) video definition. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with longer battery performance than Galaxy S5 Active, because it has a 3400mAh battery capacity.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy S5 Active, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy S5 Active. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy S5 Active, giving up a couple features and specs.
