Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a general score of 76.6, which is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active's general score of 75.6. Both of these devices include Android OS, but Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has older 10 version while Samsung Galaxy S5 Active has Android 4.4.4 version. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's construction has the same thickness than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, but it's somewhat heavier.
Galaxy S5 Active has a better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a much smaller screen and a quite lower 1920 x 1080 resolution, it also counts with a just a little higher display pixels density. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with much more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy S5 Active, and although they both have an external memory slot that allows up to 128 GB, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has 48 GB more internal storage.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Active features just a bit better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory and lesser cores , it also counts with a graphics co-processor. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a much longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity against 2800mAh.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 captures way better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a way higher 48 mega-pixels resolution camera.
Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy S5 Active. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, resigning some specifications.
