Comparison review
The Google Pixel XL is a bit better than Galaxy S5 Plus, with an 81.3 score against 78.1. The Google Pixel XL is a much newer phone than the Galaxy S5 Plus, but it's heavier and just a little bit thicker. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus counts with a bit superior CPU than Google Pixel XL, because although it has lesser RAM, and they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus also counts with an extra graphics processing unit.
Galaxy S5 Plus has a bit more vivid screen than Google Pixel XL, although it has a little bit lower pixel density, a quite smaller display and a way lower 1920 x 1080 resolution. Google Pixel XL counts with a lot bigger storage to install games and applications than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.
The Google Pixel XL has greater battery duration than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has 3450mAh of battery capacity. The Google Pixel XL's camera is very similar to Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus's camera, because although the Google Pixel XL has a much less megapixels resolution back-facing camera and a lower video resolution, it also counts with a bigger aperture for better low-light images and videos and a larger back camera sensor providing a higher image quality.
Although Google Pixel XL is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
