Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus is slightly better than LG V20, having a 78.1 score against 77. Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus is a noticeably older and just a bit thicker phone than the LG V20, but Samsung could make it lighter anyway. The Galaxy S5 Plus counts with a bit superior processor than LG V20, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have 4 CPU cores, the Galaxy S5 Plus also counts with an extra graphics co-processor.
The Galaxy S5 Plus has a little sharper screen than LG V20, although it has a lot lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a little bit lower number of pixels per display inch and a little smaller screen. LG V20 has a way bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has 64 GB internal memory and a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 1,95 TB.
The LG V20 takes a little bit better videos and photos than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has a smaller sensor offering a worse image quality, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and a camera in the back with a 16 MP resolution, the LG V20 also counts with a larger aperture to take better photos and video in low light situations.
The LG V20 counts with a bit superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 3200mAh battery capacity.
Although Galaxy S5 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more money than LG V20, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG V20. If you prefer to save some money, you can get the LG V20, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your budget.
