The Galaxy A8 Star is a little bit better than the Galaxy S5 Plus, having an 82.1 score against 78.1. These devices use Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy A8 Star has newer 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy S5 Plus has Android 4.4.2 version, offering some extra features and optimized performance. Even though the Galaxy A8 Star is way heavier than the Galaxy S5 Plus, it's just a little bit thinner and noticeably newer.
