The Galaxy Note9 is better than the Galaxy S5 Plus, getting an 87.1 score against 78.1. The Galaxy Note9 body is much newer than the Galaxy S5 Plus's, but it's a bit thicker and noticeably heavier. The Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a bit faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with more RAM memory and a greater number of cores (and faster).

The Galaxy S5 Plus has a bit better screen than Galaxy Note9, although it has a lot smaller screen, a little worse quantity of pixels per inch in the screen and a lot worse 1920 x 1080 resolution. The Samsung Galaxy Note9 features a very superior memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a SD card slot that holds up to 512 GB and more internal memory.

The Galaxy Note9 takes clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has a worse 3840x2160 video definition and a much less MP back camera, it also counts with a larger back-facing camera sensor which offers a better image and video quality and a way bigger camera aperture to take better low-light images and videos.

The Galaxy Note9 features a way better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 43% greater battery size.

The Galaxy Note9 costs a lot more than the Galaxy S5 Plus, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
