The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has an overall score of 79.3, which is a little bit better than Galaxy S5 Sport's score of 77.8. Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+'s design is newer, much thinner and a little bit lighter than Galaxy S5 Sport. Both of these phones include Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has 5.1 version and Galaxy S5 Sport has Android 4.4.2, counting with lots of additional features.
Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport features a better processing unit than Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has less RAM memory, it also counts with a higher number of cores and a GPU. The Galaxy S6 edge+ has a bit better display than Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has a just a bit higher pixels density, a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution and a little bit bigger display.
Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ features a better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S5 Sport, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage. Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Galaxy S5 Sport, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, a 0.38 inches camera sensor, a same resolution camera and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ also has a larger camera aperture.
Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ counts with just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has a 3000mAh battery size.
Although Galaxy S6 edge+ is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy S5 Sport, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy S5 Sport. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy S6 edge+, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy S5 Sport, giving up a couple features and specifications.
