Comparison review
Xperia XZ3 has an overall score of 79.6, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport's 77.8 general score. The Xperia XZ3 design is noticeably newer than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport's, although it's somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier. Both of these phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but Xperia XZ3 has newer 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport has Android 4.4.2 version.
The Xperia XZ3 features a slightly better looking display than Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has a bigger screen, a much higher resolution of 1440 x 2880 and a little higher screen density. Sony Xperia XZ3 features a little faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with 2 GB more RAM memory and a larger number of cores (and they are faster).
Xperia XZ3 has a slightly better camera than Galaxy S5 Sport, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xperia XZ3 also has a larger sensor, a bigger aperture to take better low-light photos and video and a back facing camera with more mega-pixels.
Xperia XZ3 features a way bigger memory to install applications and games than Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has more internal memory capacity and a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 512 GB. The Xperia XZ3 has greater battery duration than Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has 3330mAh of battery capacity against 2800mAh.
Although Sony Xperia XZ3 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy S5 Sport, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy S5 Sport. If you want to save some money, you can buy the Galaxy S5 Sport, and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
