Samsung Galaxy M31 has an overall score of 86.5, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active's 80.9 global score. Samsung Galaxy M31's construction has the same thickness than the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, but it's heavier. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy M31 has a more recent 11 version and Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has Android 5.0, providing some additional features.
Galaxy S6 Active counts with a more vivid display than Galaxy M31, because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with a higher pixels density and a better 2560 x 1440 resolution.
