Comparison review
Xperia 5 is just a bit better than the Galaxy S6 Active, getting an 81 score against 80.9. Galaxy S6 Active counts with a much better display than Xperia 5, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly higher 2560 x 1440px resolution and a higher pixels density. Xperia 5 has a superior storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S6 Active, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Active features a bit more powerful processor than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has 3 GB lesser RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active also counts with an extra graphics processing unit and a 64 bits CPU. Sony Xperia 5 has a superior camera than Galaxy S6 Active, because although it has a lot worse resolution back camera and a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, and they both have a same size back camera sensor, the Sony Xperia 5 also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has just a bit better battery duration than Sony Xperia 5, because it has a 3500mAh battery size instead of 3140mAh.
Although Sony Xperia 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy S6 Active, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy S6 Active. If you are trying to save some money, you can get Galaxy S6 Active, letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
