Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S6 is slightly better than Google Pixel 2, getting a global score of 87.4 against 81.6. Samsung Galaxy S6 is an much older phone than Google Pixel 2, but Samsung managed to make it just a little lighter and thinner. The Galaxy S6 counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Google Pixel 2, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have 8 cores, the Galaxy S6 also counts with a graphics processor and a 64 bits CPU.
Samsung Galaxy S6 has a sharper display than Google Pixel 2, because it has a greater pixel density, a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a little larger display. Galaxy S6 and Google Pixel 2 both feature extremely similar storage capacity for applications and games, both have exactly the same internal memory.
Samsung Galaxy S6 features just a bit better camera than Google Pixel 2, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for low-light images, and they both have the same video frame rates, a 0.38 inches back camera sensor and the same video definition, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also counts with a much more MP back facing camera.
Google Pixel 2 counts with a little longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S6, because it has 2700mAh of battery capacity against 2550mAh.
Although Galaxy S6 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Google Pixel 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Pixel 2. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the Google Pixel 2, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
