The LG G8 ThinQ has an overall score of 84.3, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge's general score of 81.8. LG G8 ThinQ is a a lot newer phone than the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, although it's thicker and noticeably heavier. Both of these phones work with Android OS (operating system), but the LG G8 ThinQ has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has Android 5.0, so it provides the user a lot of extra features.

Galaxy S6 Edge has a little bit better hardware performance than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with an extra GPU and a 64-bit processing unit. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a bit sharper display than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a little smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit better pixel count per inch of display.

LG G8 ThinQ features a very superior memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has 128 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 1,95 TB. LG G8 ThinQ features longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 3500mAh battery capacity against 2600mAh.

The LG G8 ThinQ takes much clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a camera with way less mega pixels and a lower video definition, and they both have a same size back camera sensor, the LG G8 ThinQ also counts with a way bigger camera aperture to take better photography in low-light situations.

In addition to being the best phone between the ones we are comparing here, the LG G8 ThinQ is also a lot cheaper, making this phone a no doubt choice.
