Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 Edge has an overall score of 81.8, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy Note Edge's 81.7 general score. Even though Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy Note Edge were released only 7 months apart, Galaxy S6 Edge is way lighter and somewhat thinner. Both phones we are comparing work with the same Android 5.0 operating system, so both of them should provide identical operating system features.
The Galaxy S6 Edge features a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Note Edge, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Galaxy S6 Edge also has a much better graphics processing unit, a greater number of cores (but slower) and a 64 bits processor. Galaxy S6 Edge features a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 2560 x 1440, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a little bit higher pixels density.
Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has a way bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge also has a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB. Galaxy Note Edge counts with just a bit better battery life than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge takes better videos and photos than Galaxy S6 Edge, although it has a tinier diafragm aperture, they both have the same sensor size, the same video frame rates, the same resolution back camera and the same video resolution.
Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it costs a bit more than the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Note Edge. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, giving up a couple features and specifications.
