Comparison review

The Galaxy S6 Edge has a general score of 85.7, which is a bit better than Google Pixel 2's 81.6 overall score. Galaxy S6 Edge is an older cellphone than Google Pixel 2, but Samsung was able to make it a little bit thinner and a bit lighter anyway. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a brighter screen than Google Pixel 2, because it has a better 2560 x 1440 resolution, a better pixels number per inch in the display and a quite larger display.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a bit faster CPU than Google Pixel 2, because although it has 1 GB less RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a 64 bits processor and an additional GPU. The Google Pixel 2's storage capacity for games and applications is very similar to Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge's one, both of them have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity.

The Google Pixel 2 has just a little better battery life than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 2700mAh battery capacity against 2600mAh. The Google Pixel 2 captures much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a lot lower resolution back facing camera and a lower 3840x2160 video quality, and they both have the same camera sensor size, the Google Pixel 2 also counts with a bigger aperture.

Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it costs a lot more than Google Pixel 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Pixel 2. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the Google Pixel 2, letting go a couple features, but you'll get the most with your money.
