Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a bit better than the Huawei P20, with an 85.7 score against 78.1. Both phones in this comparison have Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has an older 5.0 version and Huawei P20 has Android 9.0 Pie. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is an incredibly older phone than the Huawei P20, but Samsung managed to make it lighter and just a bit thinner.
The Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a bit superior processor than Huawei P20, because although it has less RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with an extra GPU and a 64-bits processor. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a much better looking screen than Huawei P20, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixel count in each screen inch and a higher 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution.
The Huawei P20 and Galaxy S6 Edge both count with extremely similar storage capacity for games and applications, both of them have the same internal storage. The Huawei P20 features better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 31 percent bigger battery size. Huawei P20 shoots better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a way less mega pixels back-facing camera and a lower (4K) video quality, it also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low-light images and videos and a bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Huawei P20, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Huawei P20. If you want to save some dollars, you can get Huawei P20, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
