Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 Edge is much better than the OnePlus 8, with an 85.7 score against 76. Despite of the fact that Galaxy S6 Edge is incredibly older than the OnePlus 8, it's body is a bit thinner and lighter. The Galaxy S6 Edge features a bit better processor than OnePlus 8, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a 64-bits processing unit and an extra graphics co-processor.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a bit better looking display than OnePlus 8, because although it has a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a higher pixels amount per inch in the screen and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440. The OnePlus 8's memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is just as good as the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge one, both of them have the same internal storage capacity.
OnePlus 8 takes much clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the OnePlus 8 also has a much bigger back camera sensor, a camera with way more mega pixels and a bigger camera aperture. OnePlus 8 counts with a much better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity instead of 2600mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than OnePlus 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as OnePlus 8. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get OnePlus 8, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
