Galaxy S6 Edge has a general score of 85.7, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy A8 Star's global score of 82.1. Both of these phones work with Android OS, but the Galaxy S6 Edge has the previous 5.0 version while Galaxy A8 Star has Android 9.0 Pie version. Despite of the fact that the Galaxy S6 Edge is way older than Galaxy A8 Star, it's body is just a little thinner and noticeably lighter.

The Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a much sharper display than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 2560 x 1440px resolution and more pixels per screen inch. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a bit faster processor than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has lesser RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a 64-bits processing unit and a graphics processing unit.
