Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 Edge has a general score of 85.7, which is a little bit better than Xperia 5's score of 81. Even though the Galaxy S6 Edge is notably older than the Xperia 5, it's body is somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner. The Galaxy S6 Edge has a little better performance than Xperia 5, because although it has 3 GB less RAM memory, and they both have 8 CPU cores, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a 64 bits processor and an extra GPU.
The Galaxy S6 Edge has a sharper display than Xperia 5, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a greater screen pixel density and a slightly better resolution of 2560 x 1440. Sony Xperia 5 has a much better camera than Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a worse 3840x2160 video resolution and a much less megapixels resolution back camera, and they both have a 0.38 inches sensor, the Sony Xperia 5 also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low-light photos and videos.
The Xperia 5 has a much better memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage, the Xperia 5 also has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. The Xperia 5 counts with superior battery life than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 21 percent bigger battery capacity.
Galaxy S6 Edge costs a bit more than Xperia 5, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
