Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a bit better than Xperia XZ1, having an 85.7 score against 78.3. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge design is somewhat lighter and just a little thinner than the Xperia XZ1, although it was released many years before. The Galaxy S6 Edge features a way better screen than Sony Xperia XZ1, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better pixels number in each inch in the display and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a bit better processor than Xperia XZ1, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with an extra graphics co-processor and a 64 bits CPU. The Xperia XZ1 counts with much more memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Xperia XZ1 counts with a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for low light photos and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same video frame rate, the Xperia XZ1 also counts with a bigger sensor capturing higher quality videos and photos and a camera in the back with a higher resolution.
The Xperia XZ1 counts with just a little better battery life than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 4% greater battery size.
Galaxy S6 Edge costs more than Xperia XZ1, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
