The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, having a general score of 85.7 against 76.4. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge construction is thinner and a little lighter than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, although it was released about 18 months before. These devices include Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has an older 5.0 version while Xiaomi Mi 5s has Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Galaxy S6 Edge features a brighter display than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution and more pixels per screen inch. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a superior CPU than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a 64 bits processor, a greater number of cores and an extra GPU.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s takes much better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a way less MP resolution camera in the back, a tinier diafragm aperture and a worse 3840x2160 video resolution, it also counts with a bigger sensor. Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Mi 5s. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Mi 5s, letting go some features and specs.
