IPhone 12 mini is better than Galaxy S6 edge+, having a general score of 88.5 against 79.3. Although iPhone 12 mini is a bit thicker than Galaxy S6 edge+, it's lighter and also noticeably newer. The iPhone 12 mini comes with iOS 14.x operating system, and Galaxy S6 edge+ works with Android 5.1 operating system.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ and the Apple iPhone 12 mini count with incredibly similar screens, although the Apple iPhone 12 mini has a just a bit worse screen pixel density, a little worse resolution of 1080 x 2340px and a little bit smaller display. The iPhone 12 mini has a much powerful CPU than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM memory, the iPhone 12 mini also has a 64-bits processor and more cpu cores.

Apple iPhone 12 mini is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
