Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has a score of 79.3, which is a little bit better than Google Pixel 3a XL's 78.9 score. Both of these phones include Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has older 5.1 version while Google Pixel 3a XL has Android 11. Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+'s body is a bit lighter and thinner than the Google Pixel 3a XL, despite of the fact that it was released many years before.
The Google Pixel 3a XL features a little better performance than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Google Pixel 3a XL also has a higher number of cores. The Galaxy S6 edge+ has a much better display than Google Pixel 3a XL, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better display density and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440px.
The Google Pixel 3a XL and Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ feature incredibly similar storage to install applications and games, they have the same internal memory capacity. The Google Pixel 3a XL has improved battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a 23% more battery capacity. Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ takes clearer photographs and videos than Google Pixel 3a XL, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not good for low light photos and video and a smaller back-facing camera sensor taking less light and dull colors, and they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ also counts with a way better resolution camera in the back.
Although Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Google Pixel 3a XL, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Google Pixel 3a XL. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the Google Pixel 3a XL, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
