Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is a little bit better than the HTC U Ultra, having a 79.3 score against 77. Even though Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is older than the HTC U Ultra, it's design is lighter and somewhat thinner. Galaxy S6 edge+ has a sharper display than HTC U Ultra. The HTC U Ultra counts with a very superior storage to store more games and applications than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the HTC U Ultra also has an external SD slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. The HTC U Ultra counts with a bit better processor than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the HTC U Ultra also has more cores.
The Galaxy S6 edge+ captures a bit better photographs and videos than HTC U Ultra, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is worse for capturing photographs and/or video in poorly lited environments and a tinier back camera sensor which provides a lower photo and video quality, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Galaxy S6 edge+ also counts with a much better resolution back-facing camera.
Galaxy S6 edge+ and HTC U Ultra both feature very similar battery durations.
