Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is slightly better than Huawei Mate 10, with a 79.3 score against 78.9. The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is an way older cellphone than Huawei Mate 10, but Samsung managed to build it thinner and lighter. These phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has an older 5.1 version while Huawei Mate 10 has Android 10.
Huawei Mate 10 has a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Huawei Mate 10 also has 7 more processing cores. Galaxy S6 edge+ has a slightly better screen than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 2560 x 1440px, the Galaxy S6 edge+ also counts with a just a bit greater screen density.
The Huawei Mate 10 counts with a lot bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Huawei Mate 10 also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 256 GB. The Galaxy S6 edge+ counts with just a bit better camera than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for low light photos, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Galaxy S6 edge+ also counts with a bigger sensor taking higher quality photographs and videos and a way more mega pixels back-facing camera.
The Huawei Mate 10 features longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity against 3000mAh.
Although Galaxy S6 edge+ is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Huawei Mate 10, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Huawei Mate 10. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy Huawei Mate 10, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your savings.
