Huawei Mate 20 has a general score of 79.5, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+'s 79.3 global score. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei Mate 20 has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has Android 5.1. Huawei Mate 20's design is a lot newer than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+'s, but it is somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier.
Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ features a bit sharper screen than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better count of pixels per inch of display and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440. The Huawei Mate 20 has a greater processing power than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Huawei Mate 20 also has more CPU cores.
Huawei Mate 20 and Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ count with extremely similar cameras, because although the Huawei Mate 20 has a way less mega-pixels camera and a lower 3840x2160 video quality, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture for better captures and video in low-light environments and a bigger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Huawei Mate 20 features a much better memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has 128 GB internal memory. Huawei Mate 20 features greater battery performance than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate 20 is a better device, it is more expensive than the Galaxy S6 edge+, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy S6 edge+. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy Galaxy S6 edge+, and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
