Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 edge+ is a little bit better than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, getting a 79.3 score against 78.7. Although the Galaxy S6 edge+ is older than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, it's construction is just a little bit lighter and just a bit thinner. Both of these phones have Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy S6 edge+ has older 5.1 version and Huawei Mate 9 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo.
Galaxy S6 edge+ features a bit more vivid screen than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has a just a bit lower display pixels density, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, the Galaxy S6 edge+ also counts with a quite bigger display. Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a much better storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has 128 GB internal storage.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a more powerful CPU than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a larger amount of RAM and a higher number of faster cores. The Galaxy S6 edge+ features just a bit better camera than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy S6 edge+ also has a bigger sensor providing a higher image quality, a bigger camera aperture and a camera in the back with much more mega pixels.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with greater battery lifetime than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a 33 percent greater battery capacity.
In addition to being the best phone in our current comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is also by far the cheapest one, which makes it an obvious call.
