Comparison review

Huawei Mate X has a general score of 89.4, which is much better than the Galaxy S6 edge+'s 79.3 score. Both devices we are comparing work with Android OS, but the Huawei Mate X has 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy S6 edge+ has Android 5.1. Huawei Mate X is a newer phone than Galaxy S6 edge+, but it is noticeably heavier and a lot thicker.

Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ features a more vivid screen than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a bit lower 2560 x 1440px resolution and a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit greater display pixels density. Huawei Mate X counts with a way bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has more internal memory capacity.

The Huawei Mate X counts with a quite superior processing power than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has 4 GB more RAM and a larger number of cores (and faster). Galaxy S6 edge+ takes better videos and photos than Huawei Mate X, although it has a much tinier sensor which gives a much lower photo and video quality, a back-facing camera with way less megapixels resolution and a smaller aperture which is not favorable for taking images or video in low-light environments.

Huawei Mate X has a much longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a 50 percent larger battery capacity.

Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, letting go a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
