Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is just a bit better than the LG Q8, getting a 79.3 score against 77.2. Despite of the fact Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is older and a little bit heavier than LG Q8, it's construction is still somewhat thinner. Both phones we compare here include Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has 5.1 version and LG Q8 has Android 7.0 Nougat.
The Galaxy S6 edge+ counts with a little sharper display than LG Q8, because although it has a bit lower screen pixel density, and they both have the same exact resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, the Galaxy S6 edge+ also counts with a quite bigger screen. LG Q8 counts with a little faster processing unit than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM memory, the LG Q8 also has 3 more cores.
LG Q8 has a camera that is just as good as Galaxy S6 edge+'s camera, and although the LG Q8 has a larger aperture for better low light captures and videos, they both have a same resolution back facing camera, the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, a same size sensor and the same 3840x2160 video definition.
LG Q8 counts with a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has only 32 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. LG Q8 has a battery performance that's just as good as the battery lifetime in Galaxy S6 edge+.
