Galaxy S6 edge+ has a score of 79.3, which is slightly better than Motorola Edge 40's global score of 77.2. Even though the Galaxy S6 edge+ is much older than Motorola Edge 40, it's design is a little bit thinner and just a little lighter. These phones use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy S6 edge+ has the older 5.1 version while Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has just a bit better looking display than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher display density and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440. The Motorola Edge 40 counts with a superior memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has 128 GB internal storage.

Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has a way better processing power than Motorola Edge 40, although it has 7 less cpu cores and lesser RAM memory. The Motorola Edge 40 captures much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a lot higher 50 mega pixels resolution camera in the back, a way larger camera aperture and a much larger back-facing camera sensor.
