The Galaxy S6 edge+ is a little bit better than Motorola Moto G8 Power, with a 79.3 score against 76. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy S6 edge+ has the older 5.1 version and Motorola Moto G8 Power has Android 10 version. Despite of the fact that Galaxy S6 edge+ is way older than Motorola Moto G8 Power, it's body is a lot lighter and notably thinner.

The Motorola Moto G8 Power counts with a camera that is very similar to Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+'s camera, because although the Motorola Moto G8 Power has a smaller camera sensor capturing less light and dull colors, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the same 30 fps video frame rates and a 16 megapixels camera in the back, it also counts with a larger aperture for better low light photography and videos.
The Moto G8 Power counts with a way better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a 67 percent greater battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Motorola Moto G8 Power, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Motorola Moto G8 Power. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Motorola Moto G8 Power, resigning a couple features and specifications.
