Comparison review

The Galaxy S6 edge+ has a global score of 79.3, which is a little bit better than the Motorola Moto Z2 Play's 77.4 score. Even being the best phone we compare here, the Galaxy S6 edge+ is an older, just a bit heavier and somewhat thicker phone than the Motorola Moto Z2 Play. The Motorola Moto Z2 Play features just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Motorola Moto Z2 Play also has 7 more CPU cores.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ features a brighter display than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because it has a greater screen density, a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a bit bigger display. The Moto Z2 Play counts with a lot bigger memory for apps and games than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Moto Z2 Play also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 1,95 TB.

Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ takes a bit better videos and photos than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for low light photography, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video definition, the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ also counts with a lot more mega-pixels back facing camera.

The Moto Z2 Play's battery performance is very similar to Galaxy S6 edge+'s battery duration.

Although Galaxy S6 edge+ is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Moto Z2 Play, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Moto Z2 Play. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the Moto Z2 Play, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
