Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has a general score of 79.3, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy A8 (2018)'s 79.2 global score. Although the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is older than Galaxy A8 (2018), it's design is lighter and thinner. Galaxy A8 (2018) features a little faster CPU than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Galaxy A8 (2018) also has a larger number of cores.
Galaxy S6 edge+ features a brighter display than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018), because it has a quite better amount of pixels per display inch, a better 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and a little bit larger screen. Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ takes clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for low light photography and videos, and they both have the same resolution camera, the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ also counts with a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) counts with a way bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) also has a SD extension slot that supports up to 256 GB. The Galaxy S6 edge+ and the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) feature really similar batteries duration.
