Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition has an overall score of 80.4, which is a bit better than the Galaxy S6 edge+'s 79.3 overall score. Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition's body is newer, but just a little bit heavier and thicker than Galaxy S6 edge+. The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a bit better performance than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition also has a higher number of faster cores.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has a little sharper display than Galaxy Note Fan Edition. Both have an equal 2560 x 1440 resolution, a same size display and a better count of pixels per inch in the display. Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition counts with a way bigger memory to install games and applications than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition also has an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB.
The Galaxy S6 edge+ features a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not good for capturing photographs and videos in low light situations and a tinier camera sensor giving a lower image quality, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Galaxy S6 edge+ also counts with a much more megapixels back camera.
Galaxy Note Fan Edition has just a little bit longer battery duration than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a 7% larger battery size.
Although Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a better device, it costs more money than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
